Under capitalism and the patriarchy, women are constantly bombarded with messaging telling us we cannot age or change over time. But Selena posted photos on her Instagram stories unapologetically embracing and loving her body, even though it has aged and changed, and you just love to see it. This is the kind of messaging we all need to see more of. The 31-year-old Only Murders in the Building star first posted a throwback photo of herself in her 20s, wearing a tiny bikini next to a pool. Those days are long past, and that’s completely OK! On the next slide, she shared a photo of herself in a bathing suit today, in her 30s. She still looks absolutely beautiful, but she looks more grown up. Her body has changed because 10 years have passed between the two photos, and time causes our bodies to look different.
