By Deena Campbell June 5, 2020 Sesame Street Rectangle Racism is a hot topic these days and our favorite furry muppets are helping parents explain it to little ones. Moderated by Van Jones, Erica Hill and Big Bird, CNN and Sesame Street will join forces for a 60-minute special “Coming Together: Standing Up to Racism. A CNN/Sesame Street Town Hall for Kids and Families” to teach kids how to embrace diversity and be empathetic to others struggles and concerns. In April, CNN hosted its first town hall that addressed concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
