By Heather Marcoux May 1, 2020 Rectangle If you’ve been wondering what’s up with Gigi Hadid since the news of her pregnancy broke earlier this week you might want to watch The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon tonight. The supermodel and soon-to-be mom confirms her pregnancy on Thursday night’s episode, as we see in a teaser clip posted to Instagram. Hadid is expecting a child with former One Direction member Zayn Malik. “Obviously, we wish we could have announced it on our own terms,” Hadid tells Fallon over video chat, “But we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support.” When Fallon tells her to enjoy her pregnancy (which any pregnant person can tell you is hard during a pandemic), Hadid tells him: “I’m trying. Especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be home and be together, and really experience it day by day.” data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-version="4" style=" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);"> When the conversation shifts to pregnancy cravings Hadid explains why bagels featured so prominently in the decor for her 25th birthday party: “I eat an everything bagel a day.” Hadid’s mom, Yolanda Hadid, has also been speaking out about her daughter’s pregnancy, telling a Dutch news site that she can’t wait to be a grandmother in September.
