The first photos of the royal baby are here! 😍

The couple shocked many when they announced that they would not be doing a photo call on the steps of the Lindo Wing like Harry’s late mother and sister-in-law did after their births, but would take some private time with their baby first before doing public photos (however, the wait for this photos was not long at all).

Many were expecting a more private photoshoot that would allow Meghan to rest, and photos that were more representative of how most moms feel at 2 days postpartum, but it seems royal tradition won out.

Prince Harry’s brother, on the other hand, is looking forward to having a fellow young dad in the family.

Prince William and Duchess Kate spoke to media yesterday. William pointed out that he’s actually already an uncle since his sister-in-law Pippa Middleton is also a new mom, but that he’s thrilled to now have two nephews.

“I’m very pleased, and glad to welcome my brother to the sleep-deprivation society that is parenting.”

We’re sure Harry will have help at night if he needs it.
