Taylor Swift is humbled by clubbing with her parents
"Accidentally going clubbing with your parents is something everyone should try at least once in their life."
In case you somehow missed it, Taylor Swift had one heck of a week.
She kicked it off at the Grammy Awards, where her album “Midnights” won Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year. While she was onstage accepting her Album of the Year award, she announced her upcoming new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” She then went to Tokyo, Japan, where she performed the latest leg of her record-breaking “Eras” tour, then hopped on her private jet to scoot back to the U.S. to get to Las Vegas in time to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, carry his team on his literal back to their third Super Bowl victory. Oh, and she got to watch it from a suite with a bunch of her famous friends, including Blake Lively and Ice Spice. What a life, am I right?
Unsurprisingly, after the Super Bowl win, Swift and Kelce hit the Las Vegas strip to celebrate. They’re young. They’re hot. They’re in love. And they’re absolutely on top of both their games. They should live it up! Of course they went to the club. But none of us expected what Taylor posted to TikTok about their night out.
“Accidentally going clubbing with your parents is something everyone should try at least once in their life,” she wrote in the caption of the video.
Yep, she took her parents clubbing in Vegas. Hey, why not, right?
In the video, we see Swift and Kelce partying in a dark club that looks like it’s pretty off-the-chain, if we’re being honest. Like, as a millennial of a certain age, seeing that environment makes me want to draw a bath and go to bed early. But good for them, those crazy kids.

Over the video, Swift wrote, “It’s a friends and family party they said.”
Then, the camera pans from a server holding a literal bucket full of alcohol to her parents sitting down, sipping on drinks, and frankly, looking a bit frightened.
“Bring your parents they said,” the text over the video reads.
Just another piece of evidence that Taylor Swift is a relatable queen.
