Everyone is loving the adorable moments between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s mom

Travis Kelce who? Just kidding, everyone is obviously already shipping the whole Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce thing. But he’s not the only Kelce family member who has Taylor’s heart, that’s for sure. Have you ever looked as happy with your partner’s mom as Taylor Swift did last night? Though the couple is obviously far from making engagement plans, the very public appearance by the 12-time Grammy-winning singer just fed the rumor mills further that Swift and Kelce are a couple.

Rumors of Taylor and Travis’s romance have been swirling since the NFL star admitted that he tried to give his number to Taylor when he attended her concert earlier this summer. Kelce and Swift, both 33, even left the stadium together, a viral NFL TikTok revealed.

Multiple photos and videos of Swift, and Kelce’s mother Donna, cracking up and chatting in tight-end Travis’ suite at Arrowhead Stadium had us all wondering — what could have been so funny with our boyfriend’s mom? But then again, it’s Taylor. Everything seems like a blast.

Commenters had a great time with the photos, posting “I can hear the breakup song already: “We just weren’t so tight in the end.” Another joked of the two ladies hitting it off — “They are best friends and she is dating her son.”

In the video, the NFL jokes “In her RED era,” as Swift had a Kansas City red jacket casually draped over a white tank, with her signature red nails and lipstick to match. The pair giggles and she touches Donna’s shoulder, while fans around them try not to notice the breaking news in their midst. Sports commentators are having a great time with the romance as well, seeing how many puns from Swift songs they can integrate into their newscasts.

In a July episode of the Kelce brothers’ podcast, Travis had said he’d tried to give Swift his number: “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Travis shared, adding, “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.” 

But things are looking up for him, as all signs point to Swift being the “white whale” or ultimate catch, though it didn’t work out for multiple men in her past, Cosmopolitan reports: Joe Jonas dated her for a hot second in 2008, Lucas Till in 2009 (along with Taylor Lautner and John Mayer in the same year), then Jake Gyllenhaal from 2010 to 2011. From there she took a bit of a break, at least publicly, until Connor Kennedy entered the picture in 2012, followed by Harry Styles, Calvin Harris and others. In possibly one of her longest relationships, she dated Joe Alwyn from May 2017 to (possibly) April 2023. 

Now, it appears she might get much more than a hunky boyfriend with the Kelce family — Donna has been in the media for months, starting when her two sons played each other in the last super bowl, and she became America’s mom, cheering for them both in a split jersey.

While she may not have Taylor’s following, her nearly 100,000 Instagram followers think she might just make the best mother-in-law of them all — take note, Swift.
