Hilary Swank has given birth to twins! The proud first-time mama shared the happy news on Instagram with a beautiful photo of her and her babies as she holds them while looking out at the ocean.

“It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. 👼🏼🤍👼🏼 Happy Easter! 🐣🐣 Posting from pure Heaven. 🙌🏽,” Swank captioned the beautiful photo.

She and her husband Philip Schneider are now the proud first-time parents to a boy and a girl—and twins apparently run in the Schneider family! Swank, who is 48, first shared the news she was expecting twins last fall.

“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom,” said Swank during an appearance on GMA. “And not just of one, but of two. I can’t believe it.”

Swank also appeared on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” not long after announcing the news, saying of her pregnancy, “I’m feeling great right now, even with the time—you know, I’m on Pacific time, so I’m a little cross-eyed with that. But I’m feeling good right now.”

The cast and crew of Swank’s drama series, “Alaska Daily,” didn’t know she was expecting until after she publicly announced the news. She was trying to keep things secret until she couldn’t keep her bump under wraps.

Congratulations to the happy, proud, beautiful first-time mom and her sweet, sweet family.
