Once you cross that threshold of attaching your heart to your baby’s heart, you’re in this sisterhood of motherhood.

You are more than mine, sweet daughter. You’ve always been so much more than mine. If anything, I am yours.

I am their mother—totally, wholly and entirely. It is my proudest role. But that is not all I am.
