Tennis champ Serena Williams accidentally announced her pregnancy through Snapchat back in April—but since then she’s kept us intentionally updated on her pregnancy journey by posting sweet selfies of her growing baby bump on social media. “So few surprises in life these days, that’s why I’m waiting to find out the sex of the baby,” Williams told Instagram followers in a recent post.

Reed’s husband, Vampire Diaries actor Ian Somerhalder, announced the pregnancy on his Instagram back in May. “In my 38 years on this earth I’ve never experienced anything more powerful and beautiful than this,” the soon-to-be dad wrote in the photo caption.
