And celebrities are no different, as a super honest Chrissy Teigen showed her own leaky boobs in her recent postpartum Instagram post. In her photo, still looking more glam than we could hope to postpartum, she has on a midi-length black dress and sweater, and a hat concealing her face. She has liquid on the dress on both breasts, and lower down as well, showing the hot mess that can be the first few days and weeks after birth. Thank you for sharing.” Another says, “Nothing says postpartum authenticity like milk stains!” Another commiserates, “The soggy stage.. everything is soggy ❤️.” Teigen welcomed her third baby, posting a sweet sibling picture announcing her baby’s girl’s name, Esti Maxine, with husband John Legend. “Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes – we feel it all! X,” she wrote in her birth announcement. She’s publicly shared her journey to become pregnant again via IVF. Esti’s name, which means “star,” aligns perfectly with her sister Luna’s. The risk is two to 10 times higher for another stillbirth after the first one, but luckily most women who want to go on to conceive again and deliver a healthy baby, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. They also provide multiple resources for parents who have experienced stillbirth and need support. Teigen’s story of hope inspires other mamas on their fertility journeys, who are even hoping to one day end up in that soggy postpartum stage she has so honestly shared.
