Two moms, both with sons affected by childhood cancer, offer up some words that lifted them up during their experiences, and tell us which comments would have been better left unsaid.

When a friend comes to us with bad news, we often struggle to find the right words. When a friend confides that they’ve just received a breast cancer diagnosis, we might struggle to find any words at all.

It's an unfortunate fact that during cancer treatment, chemotherapy can damage and deplete a woman's eggs, making future conception more difficult. However, there are several ways to preserve your fertility or grow your family after cancer.

Before having these hard conversations, take some time to plan what to say.
