Home / Registry Thule Urban Glide review Review By Roma van der Walt July 10, 2017 Rectangle After having a baby, your time for workouts is limited. Many women find themselves picking up a new sport: running. It’s something you can do anywhere and straight from your home whenever you have spare time. As your child gets bigger, the nicest thing about running is that you can take them along–provided that you have the right stroller. Thule has been in the outdoor business for decades, and the Urban Glide was a smart addition to bring some of its outdoor feeling to an urban setting. As such, the stroller has won innovation and design awards, as well as being named best jogging stroller for running and everyday use by the Baby Gear Lab. The Thule Urban Glide may be primarily used as a jogging stroller, but before your baby can hold their head up, it easily transforms into a regular stroller with a car seat adapter. Weighing in at only 23 lbs with a front swivel wheel, rear suspension and big wheels all around, you can maneuver the Urban Glide easily with one hand. Even better, you can comfortably fold the stroller with one hand, too, making it a great choice for storage and transportation. It’s great for toddlers too, with a total weight capacity of 75 lbs. This high performance stroller takes less than 10 minutes to assemble out of the box, and is so straightforward that it can be done without instructions. Thule’s modular system of accessories will allow the stroller to grow with your child. As they get older, you can add on snack trays and the mesh and rain covers will keep your child comfortable even in adverse running conditions. The seat reclines far enough for your workout buddy to take a nap too on your long run. For your own convenience you can add a console to hold your phone and water bottle, and if you decide to take the stroller shopping post run, the large storage compartment with a water resistant cover will keep your items dry on your way home.
