Home / Parenting Hands down, this bounce house is the best thing I ever bought my 3 kids Little Tikes I say the words "bounce house" and they start cheering. By Emily Glover February 7, 2022 Little Tikes Rectangle Point of view: It’s the fall of 2018 and buying a bounce house seems like a fun idea to keep my kids occupied during the looming Colorado winter. After a little deliberation and recommendations from friends on the best bounce house for kids, my husband and I decide to go ahead with it. We reason it could be easily deflated and stored away when we’re not regularly using it. Fast-forward to the winter of 2022—and you know just about everything that’s happened in between then and now. While adding another kid to our family, going through lockdowns and spending a lot of cold days cooped up at home, the Little Tikes Jump ‘n Slide Bouncer has proven to be the very best purchase we ever made. Shoppable Little Tikes 1. Little Tikes Jump 'n Slide Bouncer • $198 Experience shows this bounce house is perfectly sized for two to three young kiddos. It inflates in seconds to have a large jumping area and fun slide. An opening in the back of the mesh enclosure will encourage kids to do loop after loop. In an online review, one parent called it a “nap maker” because of how it helps kids burn off energy—and I couldn’t agree more. Available now for less than $200, this bounce house will pay for itself time and time again. Shop Although we’ve now had the bounce house for more than three years, my kids still ask to play with it every. single. day. Seriously, all it takes is for me to mention the words “bounce house” and they start cheering. Yes, that part is quite cute. The bounce house is marketed for outdoor use and we’ve definitely hauled it to the backyard on a few occasions. However, 99% of the time we set it up in a large, open space in our carpeted basement. At 12 ft. by 9 ft. when inflated and 6 ft. tall, the bounce house transforms the space into the perfect spot for my active kids to jump, roll and slide their hearts out while I get a precious chance to sit down and watch. Even better, we’ve made so many fun memories together while coming up with games. Truly, I can’t imagine how many times this has saved me from hearing my one of my kids say “I’m bored.” That alone is priceless! I’ve also been incredibly impressed by how well the Little Tikes Jump ‘n Slide Bouncer has held up to three years of very intense wear. There are now a few small tears in the fabric around the slide, but we’ve managed to patch it with and the bounce house still inflates perfectly fine with the blower that’s included. If I did want to store it, the bounce house fits into a convenient storage bag. (Only we never actually do that because we use it too often.) During the time we’ve had the bounce house, an untold number of other toys have been purchased, used for a few days and then forgotten. All the while, the bouncer has been a continual source of entertainment. That’s why I tell anyone with little kids and some spare indoor or outdoor space: 10/10 highly recommend!
