Home / News / Viral & Trending Run—don’t walk—to Starbucks to score this Metallic Red Special Edition Holiday Stanley Cup itszoeford/TikTok Starbucks just partnered with Stanley and dropped the must-have holiday cup of the season. By Christina Marfice November 8, 2023 itszoeford/TikTok Rectangle Peppermint mochas and chestnut praline lattes and oat milk chai — oh my! The holiday season is definitely here at Starbucks, where the holiday menu is in full swing (the author says as she savors every bite of a Sugar Plum Cheese Danish). And as much as we love Starbucks’ annual red paper cups, we love a sustainable option even more, which is why we are running to the coffee chain now that they’ve announced a collaboration with Stanley (yes, that Stanley, the brand behind our favorite TikTok-viral tumblers). Starbucks has released its own holiday version of the 40-ounce H2.0 Flowstate Quencher. It’s made of stainless steel. It’s metallic red. It’s limited edition. And if you don’t move fast, you’re probably going to have a hard time finding one. @itszoeford im obsessed!! happy cup sips of the season day 🎄🎉 11/2 #starbucks #atarbuckscup #starbucksstanley #starbucksholidaycup #starbucksholidaydrinks ♬ last xmas – Galuh These particular Stanley tumblers have been a must-have for a long time because they’re super high-quality, with double walled vacuum insulation that keeps your drinks cold for hours, long straws for easy sipping, handles for easy carrying, and a tapered base that makes them fit in most cup holders, even though they have an extra-large, 40-ounce capacity. In other words, they’re pretty much the perfect water bottle. They also come in tons of trendy colors, which is why they’re all over TikTok all the time. New releases sell out in a snap, and we have a feeling that’ll be the case with the Starbuck holiday Stanley tumbler. In fact, reports online say that may already be the case. Some Stanley tumbler hunters on Reddit have reported that their Starbucks stores are already sold out — in some cases, resellers are buying the entire stock of these cups (predictable, since the last time Starbucks did a collab with Stanley, the tumblers resold for hundreds of dollars online). So if your heart is set on a holiday red Stanley and you can’t nab it at Starbucks, keep an eye on eBay. Just be ready to shell out for it.
