Parents and caregivers know that when it comes to playtime, you frequently have to dig deep into the well of creativity to keep things entertaining, both for your littles and for your own sanity. One mom on TikTok is going viral for her hilarious playtime cashier character, and you will be bowled over with laughter upon seeing her videos.

Mom Aubrey Sanchez recently introduced her followers to Rosey, the disenchanted employee behind the register of the grocery store. Her first clip has racked up 60 million views and counting, and it’s all due to her hilarious (and spot-on) take of what it’s like being both an employee and a shopper at your local grocery store.

Ringing up all the items in her “customer’s” basket, Sanchez starts by making small talk about her little one’s new year’s plans, asking about the “fambily,” robotically responding “that’s a blessing” to every reply. Between her long nails click-clacking against the keys and her dismayed request for a “clean-up in aisle three” over the “loudspeaker” thanks to a cereal spill, it’s clear why commenters are cackling at her realistic portrayal of a retail associate.

“These are hilarious. If you did 45 minutes straight, i’d watch it till the end,” wrote one person. “Mom…. have you left the house since you became a cashier?? Your posts are cracking me up!!” wrote another. “If you don’t get an Oscar for this role.”

Sanchez truly committed to the bit, releasing multiple follow-up videos to show Rosey’s character arc. Not only did Rosey rightfully win employee of the month, she even got to enjoy some gossip with a coworker, a well-deserved respite after dealing with a difficult customer trying to buy a half-eaten tomato. The Rosey cinematic universe even includes Bobby, a backup associate who seems to always be on his break, even when he’s needed most.

Don’t worry, though, because Rosey did get to take a break herself, taking a shopping trip to a competitor’s store. Sanchez’s daughter took her role as cashier very seriously, even charging her mama $8.50 for a reusable tote and seemingly offering no family and friends discount. Seriously, is anything cuter than this? It’s a “knee-slappa,” for sure.
