Grandpa of the year’s adorable photo shoot with granddaughter goes viral on TikTok

When you drop off your kid to their grandparents, you never really know what kind of shenanigans they get up to together. You might come back to a sugar-crazed child, like this news reporter mom, or maybe you’ll get a surprise stack of photos commemorating a wholesome photoshoot.

Lizzie Wilkie posts about her life as a mom on TikTok. But, it’s her recent video where she narrates how her daughter had a one-of-a-kind, at-home baby photoshoot with Grandpa that has quickly gone viral.

“So my dad watches my daughter on Tuesdays for me so I can teach and I just went and picked her up and he’s like, I have a surprise for you,” Wilkie begins.

Her daughter is in the background bouncing to her little heart’s content on a bouncer while Wilkie narrates the story. The surprise? A photoshoot with Grandpa.

Wilkie pans the camera and shows the most adorable canvas print EVER. In the photo, her baby girl is wearing a cute frilly dress, she’s got bunny ears on and a wide smile you know is just for her Grandpa. But, that’s not all.

“I was like how’d you do that,” Wilkie says, “He said, oh, I ordered a backdrop and I had a photoshoot with her.”

Wilkie continues the story and shows a pretty thick stack of developed photos that her father also gave her. The photos show the baby having the time of her life in this impromptu photo shoot.
