By Heather Marcoux January 5, 2021 Rectangle Jessie Cave is best known for playing Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter movies but these days she is a mom of three who is doing her best to get through this pandemic. This week Cave, 33, announced that her youngest child has been hospitalized for COVID-19. This comes 11 weeks after his birth, which she describes as traumatic and different from her other births. data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-version="4" style=" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);"> Cave’s post came as British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the UK will now enter a third lockdown as a new variant of COVID-19 is spreading there. “I watched the news about lockdown from an isolated room in hospital. Poor baby is covid positive,” Cave captioned a photo showing the Prime Minister’s address streaming on a laptop near her sleeping baby. “He’s okay and doing well but they are being vigilant and cautious, thankfully. This strain is super powerful and contagious so I do hope that people take extra care in the coming weeks.” Cave has thanked the healthcare heroes who have helped her baby while he battles COVID and those who helped her give birth during a pandemic. The good news is, Cave’s son is “okay and doing well” but his mom says the doctors and nurses are being vigilant by keeping him safe in hospital.
