By Katrina Nattress March 31, 2021 Rectangle Eva Mendes got a new glam squad during the pandemic: her two daughters! Mendes just shared a colorful selfie on Instagram where she’s donning coral lipstick, a lot of rouge, and what appears to be blue eyeshadow—on her chin. Her makeup artists? Esmeralda, 6, and Amada, 4—the daughters Mendes shares with Ryan Gosling. And apparently, the makeover didn’t end with her face. “My kids did this to me. Again. From head to toe. I guess, when in doubt, be their canvas,” she captioned the post. data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-version="4" style=" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);"> The 47-year-old mother of two has been vocal about parenting during a pandemic, saying what every mama is thinking. “Sometimes it feels like we are running some kind of bed-and-breakfast with very drunk and aggressive guests,” she confessed to The Sydney Morning Herald back in October. “We really do feel like we are working in a hotel, and the guests are angry and bossy and demand food brought to them. And by the time they go to sleep, we’re left to just clean up and talk about how they’ve treated us that day!” We’ve all been there! Frustration jokes aside, Mendes is thankful for the ample time her family’s had together. “When we feel like we’re just ‘in it,’ like all parents do during these times,” she says, “we remind ourselves that these are the good times, because we’re all together and we’re all safe right now.” Those are some definite words of wisdom.
