By Cassandra Stone Updated May 11, 2023 Maya Vander/Instagram Rectangle After suffering a tragic late-term pregnancy loss and stillbirth in 2021 and a miscarriage in 2022, Maya Vander from “Selling Sunset” has delivered a healthy baby girl. The reality realtor confirmed to PEOPLE that she delivered her baby earlier this month. In December 2021, she shared the heartbreaking news of losing her son, Mason, at 38 weeks pregnant. “Welcome to the world Emma Reign! My rainbow baby!” Vander writes on Instagram. “This was a long 9 months as I kept my pregnancy as quiet as possible from social media. I gave birth few days ago and words can not express my sense of relief and happiness!” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Maya Vander (SELLING SUNSET) (@themayavander) “Thank you so much @femcareobgyn and dr Senemar. Thank you to the amazing nurses at Baptist hospital. I will forever be grateful ❤️ and yes I’m wearing a mask because of course I had the worse cold🤧but I made it to push a baby with full stuffy nose,” she writes. Back in 2021, Vander shared the news of her loss. It’s understandable that after all she’s been through, she wanted privacy this time around. “Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. I had a stillbirth at 38 weeks. I always heard of it but never imagined I’ll be part of the statistics,” Vander wrote on Instagram at the time. “Instead of delivering a baby, I get to go home with a memory box… I do not wish this on anyone.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Maya Vander (SELLING SUNSET) (@themayavander) “What was a regular weekly checkup turned into a nightmare that I never imagine will happen to me,” she added. “Given I share my pregnancies in the show I knew I’ll have to post about this and avoid the ‘when is your due date ‘question. You will always be in our heart baby Mason.” Related: ‘Selling Sunset’ star heartbreakingly reveals she had a stillbirth at 38 weeks Just six months after that tragedy, Vander shared that she had miscarried. She and her husband, David Miller, are currently parents to toddlers (and future big siblings) Aiden and Elle. Last year, Vander told PEOPLE that she and her husband learned that the loss of Mason was a “freak accident” after receiving official autopsy results. “We got the autopsy report,” she said. “And it was just a bad accident with the [umbilical] cord mixed with some swallowed placenta.” Last month, Vander shared a photo of herself with her husband at a local playground the couple donated to their community—and they dedicated it to their son, Mason. This playground will bring joy to so many children. Our stillborn Mason will be in our heart forever! In every tragedy we can try to find a little light and learn how to navigate through hard times. Thank you Child Care Center for letting us create such a fun area for the kids!” Related: ‘Selling Sunset’ star Maya Vander shares she had a miscarriage 6 months after son’s stillbirth Fans of the show speculated whether Vander was expecting again after she posted a photo and an Instagram reel on her personal account this month, in which she appears to have a baby bump.
