Three weeks after welcoming her first baby, Lindsay Lohan is sharing her first update on Instagram. In a sweet postpartum selfie, she shares how proud she is of her body.

Lohan and her husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed their son Luai earlier this summer. The “Parent Trap” star first shared the news she was expecting back in March of this year. Now, the mama of one is getting candid—and cute—in her postpartum journey.

“I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery,” Lindsay captioned her photo. “Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world! My OOTD lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear.”

And in an adorable reference to her 2004 hit “Mean Girls,” Lindsay added, “Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom.”

“We are blessed and excited,” Lohan captioned her pregnancy announcement earlier this spring, tagging her husband Bader Shammas in the post. Lohan married Shammas, a financier, in July 2022.

During a recent interview with Allure, the “Parent Trap” and “Mean Girls” actress opened up about becoming a mom, and what her life will be like from here on out.

“I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom,” Lohan said. “Happy tears. That’s just who I am. Though now, it’s probably baby emotion. It’s overwhelming in a good way.”

We love a happy mom-to-be. We love a postpartum mom. And we love Lindsay Lohan’s “Mean Girls” postpartum selfie—because we all know those underwear are a lifesaver in more ways than one.
