Raise your hand if you want to see Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis trade bodies again like they did in the classic 2003 Disney movie, “Freaky Friday.”

You don’t have to ask us twice — and you don’t have to ask Curtis twice, either. The star has said in the past that she would “absolutely” make a “Freaky Friday” sequel, and on Monday, she stopped by The View and elaborated a little more on her thoughts for continuing the story.

When co-host Sara Haines asked Curtis to pitch some sequel ideas to Disney, she revealed that she has contacts thanks to her role in the upcoming “Haunted Mansion” movie, and that she’s “already written to Disney, my friends at Disney” about the possibility of reviving “Freaky Friday” — with Lohan on board, of course.

“Let me be the grandma! Let me be the old grandma who switches places,” Curtis said. “So then Lindsay gets to be the sexy grandma, who is still happy with Mark Harmon in all the ways you would be happy with Mark Harmon… And simply, I would like to see Lindsay be the hot grandma, and I would like to see me try to deal with toddlers today. I wanna be a helicopter parent in today’s world, as an old lady.”

The 2003 plot of “Freaky Friday” revolves around the mother/daughter relationship between single mom Tess Coleman (played by Curtis) and her teenage daughter Anna (played by Lohan), who couldn’t be more different from one another. After receiving cryptic fortunes at a Chinese restaurant, the two wake up the next day to discover that they have somehow switched bodies. Unable to switch back, they are forced to masquerade as one another until a solution can be found. In the process, they develop a new sense of respect and understanding for one another.

It’s a romp. And it’s great.

In the years since the movie graced the big screen, it’s been pretty unlikely that a sequel would happen—at least, one with the original stars. Lohan took a long break from acting starting in 2007.

But this year, the star of “The Parent Trap,” “Mean Girls,” and other classics is back! She recently signed a three-movie deal with Netflix that kicks off later this year when she stars in the very Hallmark-esque rom-com “Falling for Christmas,” which is set to hit the streaming platform on Nov. 10.

And Lohan is currently on location in Ireland where she’s filming the second movie in her Netflix deal, “Irish Wish.” She’s also working with esteemed acting coach Bernard Hiller, and seems to be very much on the path to a comeback.

Getting Lindsay Lohan back on the A list is enough of a gift on its own. But getting her back to her Disney roots for a “Freaky Friday” revival? That would just be icing on the cake. Now where can we sign on to that letter Curtis sent to Disney about this?
