Chrissy Teigen got a tattoo to honour the child she lost

Chrissy Teigen will carry the memory of her son, Jack, for the rest of her life. And she now has a new tattoo to honor her son.

On Saturday, the mom and author shared several images from a special date night with husband John Legend. In one photo, the couple are holding hands and Teigen’s new wrist tattoo is featured prominently.

The tattoo simply says, “Jack,” in cursive script.

It’s located near another tattoo Teigen got in honor of her family. Along the inside of her forearm, Teigen has a tattoo that reads, “John – Luna – Miles.” Legend has a matching tattoo that reads, “Chrissy – Luna – Miles.”

Teigen became pregnant for the third time earlier this year but tragically lost the baby halfway through the pregnancy.

She shared a series of moving black and white photographs from the hospital, along with a statement about the loss of their son, who they intended to name Jack.

“He will always be Jack to us,” Teigen wrote. “Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever. To our Jack: I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you.”

This tattoo is amazing and so is Chrissy.
