Meet our speakers Dana Oliver is the beauty director of branded content at Yahoo Lifestyle covering all things beauty, from the red carpet to the runway and the real streets. She has led engaging conversations with celebrities as a moderator for BUILD and discussed trending topics and pop culture as a beauty expert at SXSW, Beautycon New York City, as well as on Good Morning America and BBC’s World Have Your Say. Dana recently launched her very own beauty, wellness and self-care blog called Beauty for Breakfast, where she writes about beauty from her perspective as a mostly plant-based new mom who inspects ingredient labels a little bit more carefully these days. HCC Philip Friedman/Studio D Rachel is the chief technologist and director of engineering at the Good Housekeeping Institute, where she oversees testing methodology, implementation and reporting for all labs. She also manages GH’s growing research division and the analysis of applicants for the Good Housekeeping Seal, the Green Good Housekeeping Seal, the GH Humanitarian Seal and the GH Innovation emblem. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics, with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. During her 10 years at Good Housekeeping, she has had the opportunity to evaluate thousands of products, including toys and cars for GH’s annual Awards programs, and countless innovative breakthroughs in consumer tech and home improvement. Rachel is regularly called upon as guest expert for leading media outlets, including The Today Show, Good Morning America, Fox Business and MSNBC, and frequently presents to large groups on technology and trends at conferences like CES, the Women in Innovation Forum and the World Science Festival. As a female engineer and the proud mother of two young daughters, it is Rachel’s goal to create an encouraging, inspiring ecosystem for women of all ages to excel in STEM. Tina Clabbers Feigley is the Consumer PR Director at Whole Foods Market and a certified health coach. Tina led PR campaigns at top NYC agencies for hospitality brands like Sam Adams and chefs like Michael Symon before joining Whole Foods Market in 2017. Tina leads the Consumer PR arm of the Whole Foods Market brand team and recently received a certification in health coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She lives in NJ with her husband and 1-year-old son, Declan, and loves to cook, grocery shop and work out in her (minimal!) free time. Deanne Zirker is a wellness and skin care advisor at Weleda, with deep knowledge on how to care for the skin. With over 20 years in the natural products space, Deanne is passionate about the natural way of life and the benefits to raising children in a natural product focused environment. Her 16 year career at Weleda North America has given her the opportunity to travel the world and further her understanding of Weleda’s unique gardening principles and the distinct benefits of wild crafted plants and flowers used in Weleda’s products. She is considered a trusted expert not only on the products and their plant ingredients, but more importantly, on why caring about what we put on our skin (and baby’s skin!) truly matters. Deanne resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her son, husband and 3 rescue dogs – she loves to garden, hike and spend time with her family and animals.
