By Heather Marcoux May 21, 2020 Rectangle A dad is going viral this week for helping millions of people who may not have a father they can go to for advice. Rob Kenney, of Bellevue Washington, grew up without a dad and often found he had questions he wished he could turn to a father for. When he became a father himself he was determined to be the best dad for his kids, and eventually created a YouTube channel to help other kids, too. “My goal in my life was to raise good adults,” Kenney said in an interview with Shattered. “I never wanted to be wealthy. I never wanted to be necessarily successful. My goal in life was to raise good adults—not good children but good adults—because I had a fractured childhood.” Recognizing that not everyone has a dad like him in their life, Kenney created his channel, ‘Dad, how do I?’ on which he posts videos instructing viewers on things like how to change a tire, shave, unclog a tub drain or get ready for their first job interview. How to shave your face. youtu.be Thank you, Rob. You’re not only raising your own kids to be good adults, you’re giving a generation of kids the support they need to succeed as adults.
