By Heather Marcoux July 23, 2020 Rectangle When actress Cameron Diaz and her husband, musician Benji Madden, announced the birth of their daughter early this year, fans were surprised and thrilled for the new mama. Diaz and Madden made it clear from day one that they would not be posting any pictures of their daughter, Raddix, on social media to protect the baby’s privacy, but that doesn’t mean Diaz doesn’t want to talk about motherhood and how it has changed her life. This week, she opened up to Jimmy Fallon, saying the past few months at home with her family have been wonderful. During an appearance on The Tonight Show, she described her having to quarantine with her little family as heaven. “It’s been heaven, Jimmy,” she said, adding that Raddix seems like completely different baby every day as she grows and changes every day. Cameron Diaz Gushes About Being a New Mom youtu.be “People have always said to me, ‘Really enjoy the time when they’re babies; it goes so fast.’ And literally, every single day, there’s leaps and bounds and these things that happen—she’s not the same baby she was yesterday,” Diaz tells Fallon. She continues: “It’s so gratifying to actually get to see that growth and to be a part of it and to help let her be her, and it’s just amazing…It’s the best thing that ever happened to both Benj and I. We’re just so happy.” Diaz says baby Raddix and her rocker dad share a love of music. Raddix enjoys her dad’s songs but the whole family also loves to rock out to Baby Shark. Diaz and Madden aren’t sharing pics of Raddix, but the proud mama did tell Fallon that “she just looks at her daddy, and she just loves him so much.” That’s good news for the tiny music lover because research suggests babies who resemble their fathers at birth are more likely to enjoy quality time with their dads. There’s going to be so much quality time in this young family’s future. The latest News Tokyo announces free daycare—but will it solve the birthrate crisis?
