Ashley Graham proudly shows off her ‘tree of life’ stretch marks

Not only is Ashley Graham beautiful, but she has a way of making the rest of us feel beautiful too. Especially moms. Once again, she is proudly showing off her pregnant body and embracing her stretch marks in a nude Instagram photo that is, in a word, stunning.

Graham is expecting twin boys with her husband, Justin Earvin. They’re already parents to their almost-two-year-old son Isaac, and we’ve loved watching Graham share the ups and downs of parenthood through social media.

She’s never shied away from showing all the ways she accepts and loves her body, and she always encourages fans to do the same. Her posts have a way of being both empowering and relatable for moms everywhere.

In her latest post, Graham is posing nude and unapologetically sharing her third-trimester-with-twins stretch marks.

“Justin says my stretch marks look like the tree of life,” she captions the photo. And her husband is spot-on, they absolutely do. And what a fitting comparison, given the reason behind those stretchmarks (figuratively and literally).

Graham opened up about pregnancy and body image during an exclusive interview with Motherly this fall. She’s a model, so obviously her looks are important for her career. But she’s not succumbing to any of the societal pressures of “bounceback culture.”

“As for me and my body, I’m taking it easy. I’m not going to put any pressure on myself by establishing weight goals or anything like that,” she said. “I’m not going to do that to myself or my mental health.”
