Home / Life Deal alert: Take your kids to the movies for just $4 this summer Who's in? By Deena Campbell May 1, 2019 Rectangle Summer is almost here and that means fun in the sun is just around the corner. But on the days when the beach is too hot, AMC Theaters is making it cheaper for you to help the kids chill out by offering some movie tickets for only $4. From June 5 to August 14, participating AMC theaters will offer discounted showings of PG movies (think: Smallfoot, Trolls, Hotel Transylvania 3, Peter Rabbit, Wonder Park and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World) on Wednesday mornings for kids. The $4 ticket includes a movie, popcorn, fruit snacks and a drink to entice more sales during a time when children are out and about enjoying the warm weather and when streaming movies are at an all-time high. Currently, the movie chain offers “Discount Tuesdays,” a promotion that allows moviegoers to watch films for $5. “AMC is proud to offer this program to give our AMC CLASSIC communities a fun and safe activity for kids this summer,” the theater chain said in a statement. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (but if you’re sending a teen to the movies there’s another deal right now that’ll get them popcorn and a Coke for $5) Could summer get any more awesome?
