Home / Life / Beauty & Style 5Qs with Nicole Bump Envy By Danielle Wilson August 1, 2016 Rectangle Name: Nicole Daley Occupation: Founder of Daley PR Baby’s Gender: Girl How would you describe your pregnant style? I haven’t strayed too far from my regular style. I love classic and modern silhouettes, a lot of black and gray, mixed with some boho prints and accessories. When I’m pregnant, I like form-fitting dresses. They are simple, comfortable, and I think it’s more flattering to embrace your bump. I mostly wear non-maternity clothes: it’s a little easier with a summer baby, since I am mostly wearing stretchy cotton dresses from H&M or Forever 21. I also love shopping Gilt.com’s https://gilt.com/ maternity sales and have a few items from Pink Blush Maternity. Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during pregnancy? I am tall, so length is always the biggest issue. Shirts length is the biggest challenge, and I find that Gap is one of the best for longer tanks and tees. Also, mid length dresses are easiest for me; maxi or short never seem to be the right length. With my first pregnancy, I invested in some maternity items that I loved, thinking I would get more wear out of the item with the next pregnancy, but my last baby was a winter baby, and now I am having summer baby. There honestly is not much I can wear again from that pregnancy. So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy? How quickly it’s going!! I know that sounds so cliché, but this is my third pregnancy. So between running my own business and keeping up with my other two kids, I hardly have time to stop. I haven’t even started on a nursery for the baby. Actually, I am having the hardest time with the nursery, which is not like me at all. With my other two, I really was into the décor and creating the perfect rooms, but I have learned that once you meet your baby, sometimes there personality is very different than what you had envisioned for them. My daughter, Audrey, had a modern, gender neutral nursery . It was beautiful, and a lot of work went into it. But it was never right for her personality. We just recently redecorated her room, and now it’s bright pink and orange and feels like it is a reflection of her and a space she can really enjoy. I’m feeling much more indecisive this time around. What are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby? Her siblings. My other two were just 21 months apart, so my eldest was excited about being a big brother; he didn’t really understand it was coming. Now the older two are five and three and they are very excited. Ultrasounds, baby kicks, my growing belly are all things that have been very fun and exciting to experience for the first time through them. This baby is going to come into this world very loved, and that is what I get the most excited about. What’s your 5 registry essentials?
