Home / Food Dolly Parton and Jeni’s ice cream collaborate on a sweet new flavor But don't delay if you want a taste. By Ellen Schmidt April 7, 2021 Rectangle Dolly Parton is everywhere these days, and for good reason. As I write this in my Pro Science Pro Dolly sweatshirt while listening to “Jolene”, I’m excited to share about her new collaboration with Jeni’s Ice Cream, launching tomorrow (at noon ET). Strawberry Pretzel Pie is a sweet blend of salty pretzel streusel, tangy cream cheese ice cream and “lipstick red” strawberry sauce, and yes, I’m drooling already. Even more delicious? Proceeds from the limited time flavor will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a gifting program that gives free books to children from birth to age five. So yes, not only did Ms. Parton donate $1 million dollars to help fund the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, but she also loves helping kids gain access to books so they can discover the joy of reading from an early age. Thank you a million times over, Ms. Parton, we don’t deserve you. Female-founded Jeni’s Ice Cream has become a fast favorite in the dessert category thanks to their use of unique flavor combinations, whole ingredients and absence of synthetic flavorings and dyes. If you want a pint of Strawberry Pretzel pie delivered to your door or plan to order as a gift (because hello, ice cream home delivery), set your alarm for noon tomorrow, April 8th, and head to Jeni’s website. With just under 10,000 pints ready to go, they are expecting to sell out quickly. Otherwise, their newest flavor will also be available by the scoop at Jeni’s Scoop Shops nationwide. Is their anything tastier than an ice cream treat after your “9 to 5”? Sorry, couldn’t resist. data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-version="4" style=" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);"> The latest Baby Milestones Starting solids?
