Vianey Becerra is a work-from-home mom of two and creator of The Good Mother, a judgment-free community for moms to own their journeys and redefine what it means to be a good mother. Since first becoming a mom at the height of the pandemic, she quickly grew tired of feeling the weight of mom guilt. Since then, she has decided to embrace her own definition of motherhood and empowers other moms to do the same. She writes about life at the intersection of work and parenthood, and her musings include sharing the nitty gritty of daily life in the hopes of connecting through shared experiences. In her spare time, she enjoys immersing herself in a good book, and learning about art history. That is, when she’s not busy negotiating with her three year-old. We need leaders who will fight for access to maternal health services, as well as help build socioeconomic systems that will support mothers regardless of race, income or location.
