Risa Barash

Risa Barash is the founder and owner of Fairy Tales Hair Care, which she launched in 1999 with Rosemary Repel, the first line of natural hair care products to help prevent head lice. Risa partners with school nurses, pediatricians and moms around the country providing education, advice and products to help minimize lice outbreaks. A former stand-up comic, she credits her background in comedy with helping her find the humor in her role as a lice expert. As she says, “a little comic relief (and a glass of chardonnay) can go a long way when dealing with a lice outbreak!”
