Grant Lipman, MD

Grant Lipman, MD is a practicing emergency medicine physician and Chief Medical Officer of GOES Health, an app to get people outside safer. He is a former Professor of Emergency Medicine and Director of the Wilderness Medicine Fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine, and spent the last 20 years teaching, traveling, and publishing extensive research on the interaction of people in outdoor environments. Dr. Lipman has been medical director for expeditions on 6 continents, served as Chair of the Wilderness Medicine Section of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Chair of the Research Committee and Board Member of the Wilderness Medical Society. He brought together a team of wilderness medicine doctors, engineers, designers, and healthcare technologists to revolutionize outdoor health.
