Franziska, mother of 4, wife to 1, master of none, is a parenting & lifestyle blogger at Queen of my Castle. Recently having gone through a major career transition from Service Manager in a multinational company to family manager, she is looking for a new sense of presence, possibility, and creativity. Venting & chanting about parenting joys & fails is her therapy while trying to see the fun in it all. She writes about stuff that stirs her motherly soul while surviving life that's never boring (or relaxing for that matter) with 4 kids running circles around her. Follow her adventures on Facebook.

You will spend a full night in your bed again. A full, uninterrupted night...tonight is probably *not* that night.
Like #5—Cook more than one dinner. You get what you get + you don’t get upset. Isn’t that what they teach in school?
Even though we know that our lives will never be the same again once we have had a baby, we expect our bodies to.
