Home / News Target and Hunter Boots are teaming up for the collab of our dreams Here’s a sneak peek, mama. By Emily Glover March 1, 2018 Rectangle April showers are about to make for a seriously fashionable moment for everyone in the family: Target and Hunter Boots are teaming up for a collaboration with more than 300 reasonably priced items to suit everyone from parents to toddlers. “From the very beginning, we worked with Hunter to develop a well-designed, affordable collection that’s all about fun, optimism and accessible adventure for the entire family,” says Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target, in a press release. “The colorful, all-weather pieces found in this line are made for enjoying the outdoors—rain or shine—on any budget.” Although the brand is best known for its iconic Wellington boots, the Target line will feature everything from outerwear to accessories to coolers. Plus, yes, those boots in a variety of sizes and colors. ? The original boots usually run upwards of $100, but everything in the Target line ranges from $5 to $80 with most items priced under $30. How is that possible? As Tritton perfectly puts it, “It’s the magic of Target!” Tritton adds, “Hunter and Target worked hand-in-hand to create a colorful assortment of all-weather wear for the entire family—one that will protect them from the elements no matter where they are or what they’re doing, all for a fantastic price.” The partnership will launch online and in stores for the general public on April 14. But, for the first time, Target is offering REDcard holders exclusive early access on April 7. So if you were on the fence about signing up for the card, now’s the time! For the earliest peek, though, Los Angeles locals have the exciting chance to attend a family-friendly festival hosted by Target and Hunter Boots on March 25. The brands promise it will be a fun mix of shopping and celebrating. “Our boots, outerwear and backpacks are now worn at festivals across the globe, come rain or shine,” says Hunter’s creative director Alasdhair Willis. “Recognizing our shared spirit of adventure, getting outdoors and appeal to the whole family, we wanted to create a collection that celebrates that, whether that be a summer gathering in the backyard, weekends away or at a music festival.” Although the festival is free, tickets are required. So, not all too surprisingly, the show featuring OneRepublic, Charlie Puth, Charli XCX, Troye Sivan and DJ Questlove is already sold out. (You can add your name to the waitlist here.) Even if you have to wait for another opportunity to see the performers live, you don’t have to wait much longer to get your hands on Target’s line of Hunter products: The Target and Hunter Boots collaboration will run through June 14 or until supplies last.
