Dad-to-be Nathan Edge lost his vision years ago, but recently he got to “see” his partner’s ultrasound thanks to a friend who embroidered a version of the sonogram.

“I tried to imagine what he looked like using other people’s descriptions,” Edge told Today Parents. “But now I’m able to build a proper picture of my baby. It’s just amazing. I could have gone my whole life never knowing what that scan looked like.

Thanks to his friend, he now can.

Edge is looking forward to meeting his child. We know that affection is the key to building a strong father + child bond and Edge is getting started early.
